The quality of each grain, green, and protein is the starting point for the elegance of Shycook’s creations. From there, Michelin-level mastery, local inspiration, and a soft spot for Mediterranean flavors fuse to create unique, customized menus for a variety of occasions.

  • Shycook crafts custom menus tailored to any occasion: celebratory lunches served family style, sophisticated seven-course fine dining events, and everything in between. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other food preferences can always be accommodated.

    Although everything can be customized, seasonal sample menus make an excellent starting point for planning your event. Brunch is a set menu featuring a vibrant array of traditional Turkish breakfast delicacies. Lunch + dinner features a range of seasonally inspired options for a four-course meal. Depending on your event, these seasonal menus may be exactly the thing you’re craving—and if not, custom concepts are always available.

  • Catered dishes can be served buffet style or as passed hors d’oeuvres. Shycook accommodates up to 50 guests for catered events including cocktail parties, weddings, office meals, corporate events, no-contact picnics, and more.

  • Spend more time enjoying the holidays with meal kits that take the work out of preparing a feast.

    Detailed serving instructions ensure excellent results. Available for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  • Enjoy 4-5 prepared dishes per week, selected from a menu of traditional Mediterranean recipes.

    Shycook works with clients to make menu selections and sends a grocery list in advance. At the start of each week, all dishes will be prepared in the home and left ready to go. All that’s left to do before enjoying is reheat.

All services are available for parties of 2-50 people. Wine pairings, dietary accommodation, servers, sommeliers, bartenders, dinnerware, floral arrangements etc. can be arranged upon request.

Booking Details

  • Shycook serves the Tri State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut)

  • Contact Shycook 2-3 weeks before your event, minimum

  • Deposit 50% non-refundable payment to hold your date

  • Cancellation with less than 7 days notice is non-refundable

  • Pricing is available upon request—see sample menu to gauge price range

  • Quote will include travel costs—domestic and international travel can be accommodated

  • Gratuity is not included in your quote

  • Please provide photos of your kitchen/venue ahead of the event

Day of the Event

  • Shycook will arrive approximately 3 hours before the event

  • Some slow-cooking dishes (marinades, breads, etc.) will be prepared in advance

  • Except for drop-off events, everything is cooked and plated on site

  • You will need:

    Supplies: Aluminum foil, saran wrap, parchment paper, salt, pots, pans, mixing bowls, oven trays, cleaning supplies, and a clean kitchen.

    For serving: Tables, chairs, glassware, utensils, etc.

  • After your event, the kitchen will be left spotless
